Spring & summer
Clean poly frames with nonabrasive soap and water. Check fasteners and moving parts. Follow the selected fabric’s cleaning instructions, and plan shade where prolonged direct sun affects comfort.
Colorado & the Mountain West
Strong sunlight, snow, and exposed patios call for thoughtful material selection. Match your furniture and cabinetry to the place you live—and care for each component accordingly.

Furniture selection
| Material / feature | Colorado benefit | Care & selection |
|---|---|---|
| HDPE poly furniture | UV protection, color incorporated into the material, resistance to rot and splintering | Designed for typical four-season weather; clean regularly; some long-term fading is possible |
| Substantial poly construction | A solid feel and improved ordinary-wind stability relative to very lightweight furniture | Compare actual model weights and placement. No advertised wind-speed rating or guarantee |
| Marine-grade polymer | Dense HDPE sheet material designed for outdoor cabinetry and selected furniture | Maintain finishes and hardware; allow for thermal movement; protect from excessive heat |
| Aluminum collections | A different balance of weight, style, and frame construction | Review the specific finish, frame weight, exposure, and maintenance requirements |
| Cushions, pillows & covers | Comfort and finish coordination | Store soft goods clean and dry; use fitted covers as appropriate; secure loose items before wind |
A practical seasonal routine
Clean poly frames with nonabrasive soap and water. Check fasteners and moving parts. Follow the selected fabric’s cleaning instructions, and plan shade where prolonged direct sun affects comfort.
Keep cushions and covers secured and umbrellas closed when conditions require it. Review exposed-site placement and restraint needs with our team. Furniture mass does not replace storm preparation.
Clean before storing soft goods; let them dry completely. Gently remove snow buildup instead of stacking it on furniture. Winterize kitchen water systems and follow appliance instructions.
The specified HDPE furniture boards contain 95% recycled material. This applies to those boards, not every furniture component, aluminum frame, or Elevation Signature cabinet sheet.
Built-in UV protection helps resist fading. The manufacturer also notes that slight fading can occur with years of direct sun. Covers and shade can reduce exposure; do not paint the poly.
The manufacturer identifies stainless steel furniture fasteners, most with chrome plating. Rinse and clean as instructed; stainless does not mean immune to corrosion in every environment.
Nonabsorbing polymer resists the moisture-related swelling and rot associated with wood-based materials. Protect the whole assembly: clear drainage, remove snow buildup gently, and keep cushions dry. No structural snow-load or wind-speed rating is claimed. Heavier pieces can resist ordinary movement, but storms still require securing loose items and closing umbrellas.
For pools, rooftops, shared amenity spaces, and hospitality patios, compare actual product weights and the commercial warranty with the project team. Do not assume residential and commercial terms are interchangeable.
Explore commercial furniture planning ↗Use nonabrasive soap and water for routine poly cleaning, protect surfaces from hot cookware, and follow the exact cushion and hardware instructions. The current HDPE/MGP furniture warranty lists 20-year limited residential and 5-year limited commercial coverage, with exclusions and separate component terms. No lifetime or blanket weather-damage guarantee is implied.

The poly range is designed for normal weather across four seasons. Covering can reduce exposure and cleaning needs. Store cushions dry and remove heavy snow buildup gently. Follow the selected product’s care instructions; furniture has no structural snow-load rating.
No. Built-in UV protection helps resist fading, but long-term direct sunlight can still cause some color change. Covers, shade, and ordinary care help manage exposure.
Heavier furniture can be more resistant to ordinary movement, but no wind-speed rating has been verified for this range. High winds can move or damage furniture, umbrellas, and loose accessories. Select and place each model for your exposure, and prepare for storms.
No. The range includes HDPE poly, marine-grade polymer, and aluminum options. Our team identifies the construction, weight, finish, and care requirements of the pieces in your quote.
